Background:

 

UCLA was one of 236 colleges and universities across the country to participate in a study sponsored by the Higher Education Research Institute (HERI) titled “Spirituality in Higher Education: A National Study of College Students’ Search for Meaning and Purpose.”  The data collected from both CSBV surveys allow us to understand better this critical component of students’ identities and the ways that their UCLA undergraduate experience can facilitate their religious, spiritual, and personal development during college.
