UNIVERISTY OF CLIFORNIA UNDERGRAUDATE SURVEY (UCUES)

Administration Schedule:		Every other spring (most recent administration Spring 2008)
Background:		As part of a larger collaborative project entitled “The Student Experience in the Research University-21st Century (SERU21), UCUES offers a rare in-depth examination of the undergraduate experience at the University of California overall as well as an assessment of the experiences of students at each of its nine undergraduate campuses. The UCUES data provide UCLA administrators, faculty, and students an opportunity both to closely examine campus life at UCLA and to compare it to the UC system as a whole.

UCUES 2008

Provides data tables and summary reports for select survey modules including core, academic engagement, civic engagement, and student development

UCUES 2006

Provides data tables and executive summary and data highlights reports for each survey module including core, academic engagement, civic engagement, and student development.

UCUES 2004

Provides data tables related to: academic, personal, and family background; time allocation; co-curricular activities; goals and values; skill development; research activities; news & information; civic engagement; engagement with others; campus climate; satisfaction with academic and overall experience, summer courses; and education finance.

UCUES 2003

Provides data tables related to academic, personal and family background; academic experiences; personal and academic goals; co-curricular, recreational, and social activities; time spent on work and other obligations; campus climate and cross-cultural interactions; political views and activities, and overall satisfaction.

UCUES 2002

Provides charts related to family background, social identities, student activities, academic goals and experiences and career goals & expectations, civic engagement, student services assessments, campus climate, and global assessments of UCLA experience.
